Are your complaints and issues not being dealt with effectively ?
You might get the feeling with your present cleaning company that they are not treating your issues with any sense of priority or importance. Like all companies, we have to admit we receive complaints from time to time – after all, it is a very problematic industry and we work on 1000 sites – but we absolutely pledge to you that we will deal with the complaint effectively and promptly. Most complaints arise from a lack of understanding on the part of the cleaner. We see it clearly as our own management responsibility to understand your needs from the outset, to recruit willing workers, and to explain precisely what is required of them. We then monitor them, and seek a regular program of feedback from yourself. That way, issues are minimised and actions are more effective.
Are you concerned you are paying too much for your cleaning ?
Over time, cleaning costs can rise with inflation or with National Minimum Wage costs, and you might find you are paying too much. You might even suspect that your cleaners are ot spending the full allocation of time on site. With Spotless, if you have a budget, we will work to it. We fully understand the concept of cost and benefit, and if you want a reduced specification to match a certain budget, we can work with you towards that goal. We can advise on ways to cut cost, what tasks can be reduced, what time of day is cheaper, how to reduce electricity consumption when cleaning etc.

Are you considering contract cleaners for the first time?
The entry level for most cleaning companies is 10 hours of cleaning per week, and in our case, our minimum charge for this is £100.00 + VAT. Normally, this will cater for 10+ employees working in an office of 1,500+ feet. If you most definitely do not want to pay as much as this, please contact us, and we will be happy to put you in touch with smaller operators who may do one or two hours per week. When you take on a cleaning company, make sure you get some written assurance on recruitment methods, ID checking, especially foreign workers, and ensure they have the correct insurance cover and Risk Assessment awareness. Try and get a fully specified list of cleaning duties, and a stated number of hours that they will be providing for the price.
